Our Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon was handcrafted from grapes 100 percent from the legendary Monte Rosso Vineyard. This is an impressive red wine with great depth and a surprisingly soft mouthfeel for such concentrated fruit. It swirls with aromas that include cherry liqueur, earth and the classic Monte Rosso spice.
On the palate, the wine offers black cherry, raspberry, black fig, plus more red and dark fruit flavors, all layered over hints of dusty chocolate. Aging in French and American Oak created assertive-but-velvety tannins that melt seamlessly into a long, elegant finish filled with anise, cedar and vanilla flavors.
