Blackstone carefully selects Chardonnay grapes from various microclimates in the cool, coastal winegrowing region of Monterey County. These vineyards produced grapes abundant with floral and tropical fruit flavors. After harvesting, a portion of the wine was barrel fermented, undergoing malolactic fermentation to enhance the ong, silky finish.
